About the Boat Ramp

The Mike Walker boat ramp is a joint effort between the Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Department and the Bureau of Land Management. It is located south of highway 48 on the main Snake River and is a hidden paradise for the locals. Boaters appreciate the well designed ramp to ease their boats into the Snake River. Amenities at the location include a paved parking lot, a new wheel chair accessible dock, a restroom, and campsites with picnic tables. There is a user's fee assessed for the area by the Bureau of Land Management on an honor system.

Once you find it, you will keep coming back! See you on the water!
